Have you explored our Game Page and thought to yourself
“What Game Should I Choose For My Group?”

This is something that might help your decision! We know they all sound so fun (cause they are!), but there are a couple of reasons you should choose one game over the others. Keep reading to figure out what game you should book for your group. Here’s how to choose an escape game!

How to choose an escape game:
Do you have escape room experience? If not, you may want to choose one of our easier level games.
How many players do you have? If you have 8 players, our 6 player game is not the best option.
What story line sounds the most fun? That’s up to you!
What time is the game available? Take a look at our schedule here.

We offer 3 on location games (play at our location in Worcester):

First we have our Moderate level game Cold Case: Revisited. This game is able to host 2-6 players (we can squeeze in a 7th, if you really wanted to) and is a perfect first game for groups that have little to no escape room experience or for those with experience that want to try and break the record! It is a single room game, with no clue system. That’s right! The Game Master is solely responsible for giving nudges to keep you moving in the right direction. This game is the 5th and final story in our Cold Case Investigators Series. Your objective is to go through old case files and match The PuzzleMaster’s victims to local missing persons cases and bring closure to their families.

Captive is our Intermediate level game. Perfect for 2-8 players, but we have hosted up to 10 players at one. This experience is loosely based off of a movie starting John Goodman (one of our favorite 90’s actors!). Which is why we ask you to yell his name when you ask for 1 of the three available clues in this game. Starting off in a dark, underground bunker, you must search the room to find a key to escape from the eccentric doomsday prepper that kidnapped you. This multi-room experience is great for large groups that have little to some escape room experience. Your Game Master nudges in this game as well, but only if you’re all focusing on something that’s not going to help you move forward.

Then last, but certainly not least, The Protocol 2: Potsy’s Place. This Challenging level game starts with up to 3 players handcuffed! This game hosts 2-8 players, but we suggest 4 or more players for an optimal experience. This game is the 4th story in our Cold Case Investigators Series. After being kidnapped and waking up in a strange cabin, search for information that will help you identify The PuzzleMaster’s accomplice and escape! Yelling “Let Us Out of Here!” will only help if you’re looking for 1 of the three clues available from your Game Master. Nudges are given at the GMs discretion.

All of our available games offer a variety of fun puzzles from traditional lock and key to awesome hidden electronic mechanisms; audio, visual and physical too. The owners and operators of Live Action Escapes design and build all of the props and puzzles ourselves! That means you’ll never see games like our anywhere else.

We also offer 2 off location games (play at a location of your choice, but not at our brick and mortar):

The Great Party Escape
This fun, party themed game used to live in our building as a permanent game, but when we wanted to bring in a new adventure, we just couldn’t let this game go! So, we downsized it to fit nicely inside of a storage tote, which allows you to bring this escape game anywhere! This is an easy level game, designed for ages 8 and up. With a 45 minute maximum game play, you must work your way through all of the bright colored boxes and solve the party puzzles to “Escape the Party”. Multiple rental options available to fit your event.

Quest for the Golden Keys
This medieval adventure game is a mix of physical challenge stations and mental riddle stations. Designed for large group events, like school spree days, team building events and fundraising events, we are able to run up to 60 players in the minimum rental period. In groups of 2-6 players, you must answer the riddles correctly to earn your Golden Key Stamps, then try your hand at the physical challenge station to earn points! Goblet Hole (like corn hole), mug slide, an obstacle course and a 9ft tall inflatable dragon that you must “slay” with a bow and foam tipped arrow are just some of the fun adventures you will face. Large space required for this event, like a gymnasium or outdoor area.
