What does the spread of the COVID-19 mean for Escape Rooms?
Live Action Escapes is doing our part to prevent the further spread of the COVID-19 virus.
Live Action Escapes be closed until at least April 30th. We’ll be following all of the regulations that are put in place by the state of Massachusetts to protect the safety of our families and everyone around us. Live Action Escapes WILL reopen as soon as we are allowed to. We look forward to having you join us then!
We will not be accepting any new reservations for 2 weeks. Pending the recommendations of the CDC and Charlie Baker we will reassess the situation, but plan on re-opening for bookings starting March 31st. We are still open for all of the currently scheduled games and are taking precautions to ensure a safe and clean environment for those that will join us. All existing bookings have been made private to prevent mixed groups of players.
If you or any one in your group has felt ill or has come into direct contact with anyone diagnosed with the COVID-19 virus, please refer to the cancelation policy in the text below.
Live Action Escapes employees have been instructed to take all precautionary measures (extra hand washing/use of hand sanitizer, restrict all handshakes and any physical contact with customers, as well as instructed to follow the extra cleaning measures we have put in place beyond our normal cleaning schedule)
- All Lobby surfaces are being wiped down and sanitized between each group arrival. This includes any door knobs/handles and hand railings along with any other commonly touched surfaces.
- To prevent further ‘touch’ surfaces, you can opt to print a paper waiver at home. Just sign it and bring it with you to your game. If not, our electronic waivers are still available (and sanitized between groups!)
- All game surfaces including doors, locks, puzzles, props, and any commonly touched places are being wiped down and sanitized between every game.
- As always, you are allowed to bring all of your personal belongings with you (this standard practice for us but we figured we’d mention it).
Want to cancel?
Of course we are understanding! If anyone in your group feels uncomfortable joining us for a game due to the virus, we are more than happy to issue a credit for 1 or all of the spots you booked for. Please get in contact with us no less than 12 hours prior to your game to receive your credit. This credit does not expire and can be used for any of our on-location games in the future. We hope all of you are taking the precautionary measures yourselves by following the CDC recommended guidelines. Wash your hands, cough and sneeze into your elbow and if you have any symptoms of illness, self-quarantine.
